Do I need to clean them?

Separate brushes for builder gel and nail art, for example, do not need to be cleaned every time, but if you have used colour, any excess product should be removed.

How to do it

Wipe the brush with a lint-free wipe and clean the bristles by sliding them around in a clear base coat until all colour residue is gone. Finish with a layer of base coat on the bristles – this keeps them flexible and in shape.
