How to apply Gel Polish – step by step

This routine is a classic Gel Polish manicure from start to finish – from prep to cuticle oil.

1. Prep – file length and shape, push back the cuticles, buff the surface lightly, clean with cleaner and apply primer (air-dries in 60 sec.). Watch the prep video guide →
2. Base coat – a very thin layer, seal the free edge, and cure the whole hand in the lamp.
3. First coat of Gel Polish – thin layer: place a small bead in the centre of the nail, push it towards the cuticle, pull it down and out to the sides, seal the tip and cure. If it doesn't cover completely, that's perfectly normal.This product is used in steps 3 and 4
4. Second coat of Gel Polish – the same way as the first, and cure.
5. Top coat – seal the free edge, and cure.
6. Nail oil – wash your hands and finish with oil at the cuticles and under the nail.
