These basic templates are really well-suited when you are extending the natural nail. They ensure a natural curve when adapted to the nail and naturally have small guide lines that make it easy to mold the same length on all the nails.

How to extend on forms – step by step

Extension on forms builds the nail out with PolyGel or Builder Gel – no tips needed.

1. Prep – file length and shape, push back the cuticles, buff the surface lightly, clean with cleaner and apply primer (air-dries in 60 sec.). Watch the prep video guide →
2. Apply forms – on all five nails, snug under the free edge with no gap, shaped to the nail's c-curve.This product is used in step 2
3. Base coat – a very thin layer, seal the free edge, and cure the whole hand in the lamp.
4. Build the extension – with builder gel or PolyGel out onto the form to the desired length, and cure.
5. Remove the forms – and file the extension if needed.
6. Build the nail's shape – apex and upper arch over the whole nail, and cure.
7. File the shape (if desired) – remove the sticky layer with a wipe and cleaner, file the nail, and wipe it free of dust.
8. Top coat – seal the free edge, and cure.
9. Nail oil – wash your hands and finish with oil at the cuticles and under the nail.
