These rosewood sticks from The Gel Collection are an all-in-one tool that anyone doing nails should own. To ensure flexibility, the rosewood sticks offer two different ends. One end is slanted and the other end goes down into a V with a flat tip. Both ends are great for removing product that has mistakenly run into the cuticle area. The wood material ensures easy absorption of the product and is therefore extremely effective at removing running product. In addition to absorbing, the rosewood stick is also ideal for scraping off dissolved product after soaking off with acetone. Due to the soft core of the wood, you can easily and effectively scrape off the product without damaging the natural nail. The rosewood sticks can also be used for everything from pushing cuticles to creating various types of nail art. Only your imagination sets the limits.

How to remove gel – step by step

Removal means taking the gel off completely – gently and without damaging your natural nail.

This product is used in step 4

1. Reduce the thickness – file off the top coat and some of the colour (gel polish) or 80-90% of the product (rubber base, builder gel, polygel) – without touching the natural nail.
2. Apply removal wraps – saturate the pad with acetone, place it on the nail, and close the wrap tightly around the finger.
3. Let it work for 10-15 min. – ideally in the warmth of a warm towel.
4. Scrape gently – push the dissolved product off with a wooden stick. If it sticks, repeat steps 2-3. Never force the product off.
5. Remove the last residue – buff lightly with a 180-grit buffer, and tidy the edge with a 220/240 file.
6. Nail oil – wash your hands and finish with oil at the cuticles and under the nail.
