Drill Expert™ SMART is a high-quality, cordless electric nail file. It offers continuously adjustable speed up to 14,000 RPM, two rotation directions, an almost silent motor, and no vibrations in the handpiece. It is the perfect electric nail file for home users.

Mandrel Bit is crafted from the highest quality materials and designed to securely hold a sanding band. The mandrel bit is an essential addition to our Drill Expert Electric Nail File. Its small notches at the base of the headpiece grip the sanding band, ensuring an easy filing process where the band is secure and held throughout.

Sanding Bands, also known as sandpaper bands, are small cylindrical sandpaper rolls that are mounted on a mandrel bit in your electric nail file. They are indispensable when doing your own nails at home and are mainly used for filing, shaping, or removing gel products. Sanding bands come in different grits, indicating how fine or coarse the filing will be. Thanks to the ultra-high grain quality in these sanding bands, they can be reused multiple times. They are also easy and quick to replace.

How to use the electric nail file – step by step

These steps are prep and maintenance – the parts of the routine where the electric file does the work.

1. File length and shape – manually or with a sanding band.
2. Remove cuticles – with a cuticle bit in the electric file: low speed, light pressure, keep the file moving. Supplement with cuticle remover if needed.The electric file is used in steps 2, 3 and 6
3. Roughen the surface – lightly with a fine bit or buffer. Do not file off the nail layers.
4. Clean with cleaner – until the nail is matt and dry.
5. Apply primer – air-dries in 60 sec.
6. Removal and refill – reduce the thickness of old product with a coarse bit before soaking off or building up again.
