Micro mandrel bits from The Gel Collection are bits designed exclusively for Micro sanding bands. They are made from the highest quality materials and developed to effectively hold a micro sanding band. Micro mandrel bits are an essential addition to our Drill Expert Electric Nail File when you want to use Micro sanding bands to file your gel product.

Micro sanding bands are extra thin cylindrical sandpaper rolls that are mounted on a Micro mandrel bit in your electric nail file. These thin sandpaper rolls are essential for filing gel products, as their thin shape allows you to get very close to the cuticle and work on the smallest details when filing.

Micro sanding bands come in different grits, which indicate how coarse or fine the filing will be. Thanks to the ultra-high grain quality of these sanding bands, they can be reused several times. They are also easy and quick to change.

How to use the kit – step by step

The kit is everything you need for precision filing: the Micro Mandrel Bit is the holder, and the Micro Sanding Bands do the actual filing.

1. Mount the bit – attach the Micro Mandrel Bit to your electric nail file (e.g. Drill Expert).
2. Press a Micro Sanding Band on – the band must sit firmly on the bit.
3. File your gel product – the slim shape lets you work right up against the cuticle and on the smallest details. Use low speed and light pressure.
4. Reuse and replace – the bands can be reused several times and swapped in seconds when worn.
