These Sanding Bands from The Gel Collection are made of the best materials to ensure long durability and good filing quality. They are ideal for everything from preparing the natural nail to shaping and removing product.

Grit 320 is good for fine-tuning the shape of hard products like Builder Gel and Polygel or removing the very last product without damaging the natural nail. It works best at high speeds on the electric nail file and has very low heat development.

Our Sanding Bands do not shed grit and can be used multiple times.

How to use Sanding Bands – step by step

Sanding bands are the sandpaper rolls for your electric file – used to prep the natural nail, file shape and remove product. They require a mandrel bit.

1. Mount – press the sanding band onto your mandrel bit in the electric nail file.
2. Choose the grit – a low grit number is coarse (e.g. removing and shaping hard products like Builder Gel and PolyGel), a high grit number gives finer filing.
3. File – work with light pressure and keep the file moving. The bands do not shed grit and generate minimal heat.
4. Reuse and replace – bands can be reused several times; replace when the surface is worn.
